What we love most about Christmas

Each year, our team put together a fun infographic as our Christmas card (like in the past when we created a ‘12 stats of Christmas’ infographic).

Here is our 2020 Christmas infographic:

What we love most about Christmas

According to our research, the things Australians most look forward to about Christmas are spending time with family and friends, the food and celebration and the mood and Christmas cheer. This hasn’t been more potent than in 2020, due to the various challenges this year presented. For 87% of Australians, they are hopeful for the New Year and the promises it holds.

Generation Alpha and their first Christmas

Generation Alpha describes the current generation of children who began being born in the year 2010. They are the children of the Millennials, and often the younger siblings of Generation Z. There are three million of them in Australia and in 2020, there are over 300,000 of them (and their families, of course) who will be celebrating their first Christmas. Click here to find out why we named them Gen Alpha.

All that is to say, Merry Christmas from the team at McCrindle!
