What is involved in a strategic planning session?
After sign off we'll have a briefing call to hear more about your schools objectives, goals and needs. Once we have this information we will prepare a presentation of relevant educational, generational and demographic trends in a workshop which might include a SWOT analysis, Impact + Certainty Matrix, Scenario planning and DESTEL environment analysis (presentation of trends across Demographic, Economic, Social, Technological, Environmental and Legislative categories).
How long will it take?
We can work to your schedule. Some schools look to conduct workshops and develop their strategic plan over a few months. However others like to take a little longer (anywhere from 6-12 months).
What will I get from a strategic planning session?
From a strategic planning session you and your team will get the latest demographic and generational trends. You’ll also be upskilled in strategic thinking, understanding your organisation as well as a clear and relevant strategic plan.
What are the deliverables?
You will have access to all presentation slides and raw workshop data, including results from tools like GroupMap. We can also include any research you commission, such as stakeholder studies or demographic reports. To help share your strategy, we offer two key outputs. The first is a one-page visual summary of your 3–5 key goals and metrics. The second is a detailed report (written or visual) that outlines each initiative.
